• Aléc and Mikel Zemborain donated their own collection of 96 magazines in Spanish to the Spanish Community of Wallingford, CT. El Revistero was born.
(Thanks to these magazines, which were mailed by family members from Argentina to the USA, they learned to read in Spanish by themselves)

• El Revistero collected and donated 42 magazines to Vietnam Veterans of America
• El Revistero collected and donated 36 magazines to the Women's Shelter of the Christian Community Action of New Haven, CT.
• El Revistero collected and donated 24 children's magazines to the Asociación El Arca, of Moreno, Buenos Aires province, Argentina.
• El Revistero collected and donated 33 magazines to the Centro Educativo San Ignacio in Villa de Mayo, Buenos Aires province, Argentina.
Its Director, Claudia Cristina Maglio, wrote this thankful note:
"Our kids get very excited with the magazines, which motivate them to read and are also very useful in our classes. Thanks."

• El Revistero collected and donated 50 magazines to Children's School in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
• El Revistero will organize a magazine drive at Choate Rosemary Hall, in Wallingford, CT, during January, 2015.
